For shipped purchases from my website, you are required to provide a delivery and billing address. The details you provide will be stored in an electronic invoicing system, which is password protected. All payments are made through PayPal and are secure. I do not see, record or store any of your payment information.
If you book an attended course where booking is dealt with by Paul Talbot-Greaves, you are asked to provide your name, address, telephone number and email address. This is for a record of attendance, which may be used for notification purposes by Paul Talbot-Greaves for processing the booking, cancelling or making changes to a course or in the case of any unfortunate emergency. Your details will be kept in a password protected PC for the duration of the course year. At the end of the course year, your details are deleted. The data is not shared, analysed or sold to any third parties.
Some courses advertised on my website are organised and run by third parties who will be the data controllers for those particular courses. If a booking link takes you to a third party website for more details and bookings, you should note that I do not have any control over that other website.
I use the Mailchimp platform to bring you information regarding my courses, workshops and exhibitions. The only information I require for mailings are your name and email address. I only send out occasional mailings. You are free to change your details or unsubscribe at any time, either from my signup page on my website or using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.
If you enquire about a demonstration or workshop for an art group you will be providing me with your name, telephone number and email address so that we can make contact about the booking. Your details are kept as a point of contact only for the booking and are not held on any database unless you specifically request it, such as ‘add me to your mailing list’.
Any invoice addressed to you, will include your name and address. No sensitive data such as credit card details are handled or stored by me. Your invoice forms part of my accounting records, which have to be kept for seven years for the purposes of HM Revenue and Tax, UK. The invoices are shared each tax year with Armitages LTD, chartered accountants for the purposes of tax calculation, after which Armitages LTD have no further use for them.
