Buying paintings

Paul's paintings are guaranteed one off original pieces created using the finest art materials to ensure quality and longevity. Paintings are shipped in secure packaging along with receipts and a certificate of authenticity which guarantees their provenance. All original pieces sold on www.talbot-greaves.com are supplied as artwork only, which allows you to select a frame of your choice from your local framer.

If you paid for a product or service but changed your mind within 14 days.

We believe in fairness and understand that an original painting is an investment, therefore we operate a no quibble 14 day money back guarantee. If you change your mind within 14 days simply return the painting to usIntention to return an item must be made to us within 14 days of purchase. Shipped items must be returned safely at your own cost. You are advised to take insurance on return shipping. Your refund will be processed once items have been received in the same condition that they were received by yourself. Refunds for any charges or costs incurred by the payment gateway provider for processing your original payment cannot be made as they are non refundable to us. Typically financial payment providers charge between 1.69% and 5.2% depending on your global location.

My payment won't go through

Sometimes, online payments are stopped by card issuers, which can be frustrating. Please try your payment again or try a different card. You could also try the alternative payment provider shown at checkout. We use SumUp and PayPal payment providers. Both are payment gateways and do not need any sign up or accounts to be opened. If the problem persists contact your card issuer for more help.

If you paid for a product that was damaged or faulty.

If your painting is faulty or damaged on receipt, a replacement or full refund will be offered, providing proof of damage is produced, i.e. a photo of the damaged product and packaging. In some circumstances we may require the damaged product to be returned to us.

If you paid for a product or service in error, or made a double payment by accident.

Please contact us as soon as possible and we will activate the refund. Payments made with bank cards will be subject to non refundable transaction fees. Banks and banking apps charge us transaction based fees which are non returnable to businesses (typically between 1.69% and 5.2% depending on your global location).

Delivery

Shipping for all purchases is calculated at the checkout. In most cases delivery times are 3-5 working days but may be longer due to delivery location or if there are weekends or bank holidays covering the delivery period. If a longer wait time is anticipated we will contact you. Please be aware that international shipping may be subject to import duties and charges on receipt of goods.

Late delivery

Any refunds issued for late delivery will be made at our discretion. Please note that the UK postal service only accepts packages as lost after 15 days have passed.

Buying from galleries

If you buy a painting from a gallery you are bound by their terms and conditions relating to the sale and safe shipping. Paintings in galleries are displayed on this site with links to the gallery exhibiting the piece. For all queries please contact the individual gallery direct.
