PERFECT SHADOWS IN WATERCOLOUR

Perfect your shadows with this workshop. You will learn how to plan your shadows, how to make colourful shades that work with your scene and most importantly, you will learn how to achieve strong but luminous shadows to give your work impact. This course includes some set exercise work to practise and a demonstration painting to give you inspiration and knowledge to try your own shadow work.

What to bring

Reference material to work from that involves cast shadows, watercolour paints, watercolour paper, brushes, waterpot, palette, kitchen roll, masking tape, Water spray, 6B pencil, putty rubber. Complimentary tea and coffee is available throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch.
