About the Event
Engage the viewer, tell a story, create mood and guide the eye through your painting using techniques for making strong statements, such as where to use wet into wet, where to use hard edges, what to simplify and how to suggest areas without over detailing. The day will begin with a discussion about guiding the eye through a painting and forming a plan, before putting the information into a full demonstration painting.
