Cool Shadows Warm Light
Winter is my favourite time of year to paint, as there are so many cool and warm contrasts to enjoy, plus the light is lower in the sky for most of the day. Cool shadows, warm light draws you beyond the cold foreground out into the ribbons of sunlight and the welcoming warmth.
