Bell House
The 18th Century home to the king of the Crag Vale coiners, David Hartley. The coiners clipped the edges of guineas and forged new money, which eventually led to a murder and their consequent arrest and death sentence. David Hartley's grave can be found in Heptonstall churchyard.
