Wall and lane leading to hill top with mast. Painting by Paul Talbot-Greaves

A glimpse of Holme Moss

Watercolour on Saunders Waterford Paper, 56 x 38cm

Holme Moss is the high point between the Holme Valley and the Derbyshire Peak District. Its has a notorious reputation as one of the hardest peat bog crossing points on the Pennine way and it's always the first place in the area to become blocked with snow in winter. Climbing up the lane beyond the village, this is the first view of the radio mast set on top of the Moss.

This painting is for sale unframed, however I do offer a standard framing service for a nominal charge. My watercolours are set in a contemporary white frame, with a white mount to show the artwork off at its best. Framed paintings are only available for collection from my home studio. To discuss framing or collection, please get in touch.
